The company introduces its new Tiki Bar collection, which brings the excitement of the seasons to the cookie aisle.
Dewey’s Bakery is launching a variety of new mouth-watering cookie flavors at the Winter Fancy Food Show at Booth #5335. The bakery’s latest innovation is the Tiki Bar Collection, featuring flavors inspired by classic beachfront drinks.
‘Tis the Sea-Sun
The Tiki Bar Collection is a new line of soft baked cookies inspired by four iconic cocktail recipes: Piña Colada, Strawberry Daiquiri, Classic Margarita, and Bahama Mama.
“At Dewey’s Bakery, we want to provide more than a tasty cookie. We want to transport you to a magical memory, so we crafted these new cookies in collections of flavors from our favorite Tiki Bars,” said Scott Livengood, Owner and CEO of Dewey’s Bakery. “The Tiki Bar Collection allows for an experiential moment, filled with delicious flavor.”
Fire up the Tiki torches with a Piña Colada cookie and enjoy the delectable favors of coconut and pineapple. Similarly, the Strawberry Daiquiri cookies are made with real strawberries and topped with a sprinkle of powdered sugar. The Classic Margarita cookie includes key lime juice and cold-pressed tangerine oil to create a burst of tart flavor that balances perfectly with the sweet powdered sugar on top. And, cookie enthusiasts can enjoy the irresistible taste of pineapple, coconut, and tangerine with the Bahama Mama. The only thing missing from these cookies is a cocktail umbrella! This line is a spring/summer limited time only offer! The Tiki Bar Collection will be available in the fall.
Get It While It’s Hot
Dewey’s Bakery is also bringing back The Doughnut Shop Collection, its show-stopping line of soft baked cookies inspired by classic doughnuts and topped with a thin layer of authentic doughnut glaze. Limited edition flavors include Cinnamon Bun, Chocolate Glazed Doughnut, Old Fashioned Glazed Doughnut, and Apple Fritter.
“When you open a box of hot doughnuts, the aroma of sweet vanilla glaze is so vivid, you can almost taste the doughnut before taking a bite. We wanted to capture that sensation with our Doughnut Shop Collection,” said Livengood. “The collection was so positively received by shoppers that we are bringing it back for more!”
For an added treat, heat these cookies for 6-8 seconds for the sensation of eating a glazed doughnut hot off the production line. The Doughnut Shop Collection will be available in the fall.
Celebrate The Season. Every Season.
Dewey’s Bakery is expanding its seasonal flavors, as well, featuring unique and festive flavors and textures throughout 2019 including Valentine’s Day, Easter, and Fall & Holiday.
“We try to tap into the flavors of the season to be part of each and every celebration,” said Livengood. “Each season has a flavor, a taste and a sensation. We want to capture that flavor in every cookie we make to bring special memories to each and every bite.”
Among the new flavors to hit shelves this year will be, Raspberry Hearts Shortbread Cookies at Valentine’s Day, Carrot Cake Soft-Baked Cookies at Easter, Caramel Apple Soft-Baked Cookies during Fall, and Hot Cocoa Shortbread Cookies during the Holiday season.
